Kaluma Boy, a popular TikToker from Othaya, has been documenting his life in the village and sharing the challenges of caring for his ailing father. His father suffered a stroke in 2024, and Kaluma has consistently shared the difficulties of managing medication costs, therapy, and daily caregiving. His honest storytelling has resonated with many, drawing admiration and sympathy online.

On Sunday, 28th September, Kenyans were moved when a large group of TikTok creators traveled to Chinga village to support Kaluma. The visit was a significant moment for his family, as it marked a turning point in their journey.

Bantu Girl\’s Proposal

Following Kaluma’s apparent change in fortune, Bantu Girl, a female TikToker, expressed her readiness to host him in Nairobi. In a video, she mentioned that her house has an extra room and that she is willing to provide a quiet and conducive environment for Kaluma.

\”I saw that this young man is coming to Nairobi,\” she said. \”I wondered why I should not host him, yet I have an extra room. My place is very quiet and conducive, and he will feel at home.\”

She also noted that her location is close to the CBD, making it convenient for Kaluma to travel. \”It would only take him around 10 minutes from my place,\” she added.

Bantu Girl further emphasized that she believes Kaluma needs help managing his money. \”He deserves to stay here with me. I can help manage his money. I will safely keep his money. We can live together and build together.\”
